Hello, my name is Taylor. Welcome to my blog.

I am an interdisciplinary studio artist in my early thirties, focusing on sculpture. This blog all started during an undergraduate rhetoric course, where I was given the assignment to create a blog. To my surprise, I found myself truly enjoying this digital space! While the idea of chronicling my artistic journey through social media initially felt a bit daunting, I have chosen to embrace the whimsical fantasy of being a mysterious blogger from the early 2000s.

Now, this platform, the Campbell Social Blog, serves as my creative outlet. Here, I share my thoughts and insights on a variety of topics related to the arts, science, and history, as well as the art projects I am currently developing. I love diving into deeper conversations about my own artwork, exploring artists who inspire me, discussing art history theories, and unpacking why I take an interdisciplinary approach in my work. Whether I am talking about the fascinating connections between ceramics and chemistry or delving into Erwin Panofsky’s studies of iconography, I always aim to offer a fresh perspective that I hope will engage and intrigue my readers!
